Tasked with creating a bespoke shoe store with an in-house workshop and foot treatment service, I decided to design a store based on high-end, designer brand Berluti. With over 100 years experience in creating mens bespoke leather shoes, the family run business have gained a reputation for handcrafting shoes of impeccable quality, also offering a range of exotic skins. Whilst Berluti are a company of true craftsmanship, they also aim to be innovative, being the first company to make a shoe entirely from one piece of leather with no visible seams.  They have also developed the Berluti patina which is an infinite combination of oils and inks which are massaged into the leather for 48 hours to create a one-of-a-kind shoe. As Berluti bespoke shoes start at £4000, it was important the store felt luxurious and that the clients purchasing bespoke shoes felt it was a special and exclusive experience.
